Shipping Policies

What types of shipping do you offer, and what are your rates?

City or Town Delivery:

We dispatch orders to cities or towns in New Zealand using a tracked courier system.  Your order will reach you within 2–3 working days from the date of dispatch.


Rural Delivery:

We dispatch orders to rural delivery addresses in New Zealand using New Zealand Post surface mail.  Your order will reach you within 2–5  working days from the date of dispatch.

What are our New Zealand shipping rates?

The standard shipping and handling charges for retail orders in New Zealand is $5.50 per order.  On some occasions due to the weight and size of your order or special delivery requirements the delivery cost may vary however you will be notified of any change prior to dispatch.

How quickly will my order ship?
It is our goal to ship orders within 3-5 days of receipt of order. In the event of unforseen circumstances meaning your order will not meet this time-frame you will be advised. During peak periods such as before Christmas or Mother's Day, please allow extra days for your order to ship. Our warehouse is situated in Central Otago.

Do you ship outside New Zealand?
We are able to ship the Stir Tea range and Revolution Tea to destinations outside of  New Zealand.  For all international shipping there is no standard charge, freight will be quoted on each individual order.

Do you ship to P.O Boxes?
No, please do not try; your order will not be delivered. Our courier service requires a physical delivery address.

Returns Policies

What is your Returns Policy?
Tea Global Ltd sells product of the highest quality and we do everything we can to ensure it arrives to you in premium condition.  Should any item you purchase prove faulty or damaged we will replace or refund the item up to 20 days from the day the item was dispatched to you.


How do I return or exchange items from my order?
If you have an item that you wish to return, please contact us at 03 442 9033.

Ordering Policies

What are your accepted payment methods?
Tea Global Ltd accepts Visa & MasterCard and New Zealand CRT cards. All transactions are in N.Z. Dollars. You may also make payment by personal cheque, certified cheque, or Internet Bank deposits for N.Z. residents only. Just place items in your shopping cart, proceed to checkout and complete checkout and choose the pay by: Bank Deposit/Internet Banking/Cheque Payment option.   

Is ordering on your site secure?
Absolutely! We use industry standard 128-bit SSL encryption to ensure that your information is securely transmitted to our servers.  Please view our Privacy Policy for more information about how we use and secure personal information.

Do you collect goods and services sales tax?
Tea Global Ltd is required to collect New Zealand goods and services sales tax (GST). This tax is currently 12.5% and is included in the retail sales price listed beside the product.

Can I send my order as a gift?
Of course! Many of our customers give products from our range as a gift. During checkout, your shipping address may be different than your billing address. You also may enter a gift message of up to 100 characters. Your message will be written on a card that will be enclosed with the order.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
We are able to offer a very attractive gift wrap at an extra charge.  This charge will vary depending on the nature of your order.   Please enquire about this when you place your order.

Can I ship one order to multiple locations?
Sorry, not at this time. You will have to place a different order for each shipping location.

Do you have gift certificates?
We do not have gift certificates. We do plan to have them soon.

Other Issues

What are your Customer Service hours of operation?
Our customer service staff is available for e-mail and phone assistance Monday - Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm, excluding holidays. Our customer service team can be reached on 03 442 9033.

Can I purchase products from your range in a store?
We sell Tea Global Ltd products to many stores, spas and restaurants.  For store locations in New Zealand please contact us.

Can Tea Global Ltd products be personalized?
We're sorry, no. We do not currently personalize our products.

Is there an expiration date on tea?
Tea does not have an expiration date, but after about a year it can start to lose freshness. At Tea Global Ltd all of our products are labelled with a "best by" date to ensure that you experience the best we have to offer.

Is your tea organic or Fair Trade?
Some lines in our range offer these certifications.  These lines are noted as such.
